The IEEE conference series on Human Centric Computing Languages and Environments replaces the IEEE Visual Languages Symposium. Its mission is design, formalization, implementation, and evaluation of computing languages as well as computing environments that are easier to learn, easier to use, and easier to understand by a broader group of people.
HCC'02 has been the second of this series after the first one, HCC'01 at Stresa, Italy, September 5-7, 2001. HCC'02 has taken place at Arlington, VA, which is located in the Washington DC area.
